Castle Complex Website Project
January 30, 2003
Kaneohe, HI.
Two of Ahuimanu's sixth grade students, Luka Zavas and Mari Tanaka along with
our Principal Anne Marie Duca attended the Castle Complex Web site project
at Kaneohe Elementary School. Many of the other schools in the Castle Complex also had
representatives in there attendance.
The students were under the support and guidance of Lauren Apiki, the project coordinator and learned the basics of building websites. Lauren is known for her work on the very successful Hamaku Marsh Web Project.
Using school graphics and animations, the students applied their web building skills to design a website that will represent their school in the Castle Complex of shools. The web pages will ultimately be linked up to a main Castle Complex website. The Ahuimanu students did so well and quickly built up their site that the project coordinator had them help the other students out with their web projects.
Way to go Ahuimanu students!
When available, the link to the Main website and that of Mari and Luka's work will be posted here.
