The 2004 'Ohana
Aloha and Welcome to the Ahuimanu 'Ohana Website. The 'Ohana is the parent organization of Ahuimanu Elementary School that is made up of parents and members of the school's faculty that volunteer for a number of positions on the 'Ohana Board.
The 'Ohana's Mission is to work with parents and community members to support the Ahuimanu School Vision and Mission to make a positive impact on the educational and social development of the students at Ahuimanu Elementary School and provide an effective support network for the teachers and administration.
The 'Ohana meets on a monthly basis to discuss the various school activities that the 'Ohana supports. The 'Ohana makes numerous contributions to the school throughout the School year and provides additional resources for classrooms, teachers, and students. The 'Ohana oversaw the installation of the Fitness Center that is behind the cafetrerai, it's largest contribution to date, and is working to help the school purchase a new math program for the K-6 grade levels.
