Guidelines
for
Discipline
There are many ways to support the 'Ohana. Becoming active in our school is becoming active in the education of our children and helps to fulfill our school's vision :
Ahuimanu is a place where people want to be. We are committed to empower our school community to achieve our full potential.
Join
Enclosed within the first packette that comes home with your children is a membership form to join the 'Ohana. By becoming a member, you are making a big contribution to help begin the school year.

Volunteer
Throughout the school year, parents can provide services and support to the school in a variety of ways. Parents serve as room parents, chaperones, library aids, teacher aids, clerical helpers, and student tutors. Contact the school to find out what type of volunteer services may be needed.

The PCNC Facilitator also sends out surveys to see what type of activities you may be interested in planning for the school. If you would like to help teachers copying, laminating, cutting and pasting things in preparation for class lessons, please contact Paressa Wong at 239-3135.

Participate
Also thoughout the school year, fundraising activities such as the Fun Fair and the Wog-A-Thon are scheduled to help support the school. By making pledges during the Wog-A-Thon and supporting the children's effort during the fall fundraiser, you also are making contributions that the school will benefit from. These activities alway rely on support given from families.
